Be a teen volunteer

Join the Annex Advisory Council

Looking to gain some really awesome leadership experience and be a part of something great? Join the Annex Advisory Council (AAC) — a group of young people ages 15-19 who meet weekly at the Annex.

The AAC is an open, safe space where you can meet new people, talk about issues that affect young people today, gain sexual health knowledge and leadership skills, and help us keep in touch with the needs and perspectives of young people like you.

Sound interesting? Email Travis to find out more.

If you’re interested in giving back to your peers and your community, we’ve got opportunities for you! Even though you don’t get paid, volunteering is a great way to gain skills, build your resume, and meet new people.

Volunteer opportunities

Annex Ambassadors

You’d be working at the Annex table at different schools, community events, and fairs. You’d learn how to do health outreach and hook other young people up with information and resources.

Special Projects/Administrative

Sometimes the Annex has special projects to do, and we’re always on the lookout for people who can work a couple hours in the office to help out.

For more information on current opportunities or to get started volunteering, contact Brooke Thomson at [email protected] or 763.235.1981.
